As part of the B&B booking, they did send someone over in the morning to make breakfast for us. They used whatever in the kitchen and the refrigeator to made wonderful Mexican style breakfast.
Today, we split into two groups for activities. Ladies went to a jewelry workshop to make rings and guys went to an ATV ride and Zip line activities.
The ladies' workshop was fantastic and they made beautiful rings to show off. Jennifer, Fei and Lucy started with the selection of opal for the ring. Then, they have to decide which finger that they want to wear the ring, cutting the wire, dipping wire into chemical solutions, making the ring bands, etc. They received plenty of help from their instructor.
Guys went to Parque de Aventura, Club Colonial to ride the ATV across town first, then went to the Cañon Aguila Cola Roja — the Red-Tailed Eagle Canyon to do 7 zip lines above a canyon and to walk cross a 110-meter suspension bridge. It was Benjy’s first ATV ride, however, it only took a minute of instructions, from the guide, he was able to ride it by himself on their practice ground.
Then, the guide led us to ride across town. We started with riding over the field to get out of their property, and then next thing we knew was that we were on the highway with other traffic. Benjy managed well, however for safety, Jeff did switch with him and rode the ATV across busy streets. The end point of our ride was Chapel of San Miguel Viejo.
Then, we rode back to their facility to get zip line gears for another adventure. The guide gave us some basic instructions, then just led us to cross 7 ziplines. It was over a deep canyon and we could see hiking trails underneath and beautiful waterfalls. It was exciting and full of adventures.
For dinner, we went to a rooftop restaurant called Baja Fish Taquito for Mexican seafood. The view from our dining table overlooking the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel was just magical. The food was wonderful too.
